PATCHES, HATS, AND T SHIRTS FOR · Patches are $5.00 · T Shirts are $20.00 · Hats $10.00 READER BOARD The Reader Board is now installed. It looks great. RIFLES We sold two of the 541’s last month. We have two more to sell; one has a bid on it. These are US Military rifles about 10-12 years old. We don’t have magazines but they are available on line. We have the largest Junior Program and the largest stock of 22 rifles. We have:
GUN SAFETY IN THE HOME The Self-Defense course is still on for April. The exact dates haven’t been decided yet. The course will include some range firing. People need to know how to shoot as well as when to shoot. A shooting basic pistol course will follow right after. There will we a reduced price for both. There will be four sessions over a two-week period. The cost will be $65 per student. The on range course will need RSO’s. This will be a basic bullseye course. BULLSEYE LEAGUE Bull’s-eye League is in the 5th week. The competition is 10 weeks with one additional week to make up a missed week. CIVIL AIR CADETS The Civil Air Cadets will be here March 7, & 8. The range will be closed. We will be using all available coaches; we have the best coaching staff. CIVIL AIR PATROL March 21, the range will be closed. The Washington State Junior Indoor Championships are being held in our range. Bob will assist. HIGH SCHOOL SEASON High School season is over; however shooters will be practicing on Tuesday nights from 4:30 to 6:30. LEAD CLEANING We need to mine the lead out of the sand. It was decided on April 11. Neil Harmon, Tony Salas, Earl Moore, and Steve Carmick agreed to do the job any others are welcome to assist. SIGN-IN LOG BOOK You must sign in on the log-book when you come in and may only have two guests, the limit is a safety feature. If you bring a guest more than two times you should encourage them to join the club. RENTING THE RANGE Guests can rent the range for $150.00. The Free Masons rented the range and had a very successful evening. They would like to have another evening event. FRIENDS OF NRA Calvin reported on Friends of NRA. The NRA Foundation raises money and sends it out to groups for their benefit. They support the Junior Program. They meet every other Saturday for a breakfast meeting. They work at gun shows, and get involved with the youth. The meetings are at the restaurant in the Sunbirds building. The next meeting will be held on April 7, 2009 The meeting adjourned at 7:50 pm. |
