SPECIAL THANKS A special thanks to all who do the work it takes to keep the range operating. PROTECTING OUR RANGE A letter was sent to the five people who had used their code in the door. The letters requested information on whether anyone had seen anything relating to the destruction done sometime between May 30th and June 2nd. SIDING and ROOF The siding is finished. Only the gutters need to be finished. This will be completed when Steve returns from vacation. Dan Freeman has the fascia board half done; it is primered and just needs to be painted. AIR MOVEMENT Discussions are beginning on what the club can afford to do and what the best plan of action is to improve ventilation during the Bowling Pin Shoot and when the BME’s are here and 24 lines are shooting at once. We need to develop a plan of action We need to complete a grant application to see if we can get a grant to help cover the costs. PATCHES AND T SHIRTS · Patches are $5.00 · T Shirts are $20.00 · Hats $10.00 FAIR The club had a pellet booth in the CIVIL AIR PATROL The dates for the Civil Air Patrol are October 2, 3, and 4th. We will need the signed agreement by the September board meeting. MISCELLANEOUS Eight new rifle cases have been purchased. Double cases were purchased, since they cost less than singles cases. Neil Harris put numbers on the cases for tracking purposes. Sixteen or eighteen hunting jackets will be purchased for the rifle team with the grant money the rifle team received from NRA. The next meeting will be held on 4 August 2009. |
