2008 OFFICERS AND DIRECTORS
SELECTED AT ANNUAL MTG The following directors were selected for the year at the
annual meeting on Jan. 15. The elected
leadership of the club is included in bold.
Congratulations to all the new leaders. We look forward to an outstanding year of
shooting activities. DIRECTORS Lee Hayes - Vice-President Shirley Hendricks - Secretary Holly Pattee - Treasurer MEMBERS FEES ARE DUE Reminder letters will go out to all members who have not
renewed by February 15. (send $120 to Centralia Rifle Club, On March 1, 2008 those who have not renewed will have
their numbers removed from the door security lock and have no further access
to the club range. Get your fees in right away. The club needs you to enjoy the busy
shooting season ahead. BUILDING REPAIR This is the year we want to get gutters, the final side
of the building tinned, and some range improvements. Daniel Freeman, BULLSEYE PISTOL LEAGUE The 2008 bullseye pistol league will be starting the
first Thursday in February. (February 7, 2008). It will run for 10 weeks plus one extra
night for a total of 11 weeks. The cost
is $25 for members and $40 for non members.
This is an event where beginners are welcome and you may use any .22
revolver or .22 semi-automatic pistol. The range has pistols to rent for $3 per
night. All matches begin at 7 PM. Contact ACTION TARGET SHOOTING New member Blake Hasbrouck has volunteered to help with
the needed fabrication for the “falling plates” targets. Thank you, Blake. Bowling Pin Shoot.
Lee Hayes has volunteered to coordinate this event and help SELF DEFENSE COURSE This is going to happen.
Plans are moving forward on this.
We have quite a list of interested participants, but can always
include a few more. Tell those you
know who might be interested to call INSTRUCTOR’S COURSE We are contacting training counselors to conduct this
course, for 2008. Six members have
indicated an interest, but we’d like 15 for the course. Are you interested? Let it be known and stay tuned. HIGH SCHOOL RIFLE TEAMS The High School teams are at late-season...note that
practices are 3:30-5:30 Weds. and Fridays, 5:00-7:00
Tues & Thurs, Monday matches 3:00-6:00.
(Arrange your shooting times around these). SPECIAL EVENT COSTS At the Oct. meeting the following rate scale was set for
groups using the range. ($10.00 per person; $150.00 Minimum; club supplies RSO).

site is for you to review frequently to keep up on new club activities. Send CRITICAL SAFETY REMINDER Our backstop is for pistol caliber cartridges only! Even if a rifle caliber bullet is fired
from a pistol frame, it will damage or destroy our backstop. If you see someone with a rifle caliber
weapon, you don’t have to confront them.
Just get their name or license number and immediately call any of the
officers, giving the time of day and date you saw them. They will immediately become former
