HIGH SCHOOL TEAMS

The club needs to set the cost for the high school rifle teams.  There will be no school involvement this year.  WF West paid, membership, ammunition, and provided the van for away games.  Costs are approximately $60-$75 per student.  The league fee for each team was paid by the club.  The teams will be starting the first or second week of November.

The fascia board is ready.  Only the gutters need to be finished.  Neil Harmon, John Moody and Steve Carmick will install on Saturday August 22.  The club has a certificate for a donation of the gutter and downspout.

FAIR

The club has a pellet booth in the Wildlife Building. The club has air rifles and swinging targets for people to shoot at.  The last remaining spots to work the booth at the fair were filled.

CIVIL AIR PATROL

The dates for the Civil Air Patrol are October 2, 3, and 4th.  We will need the signed agreement by the September board meeting.  Lee reported that the paperwork was in the mail, however the club had not received it yet.

ELECTRIC

The club is replacing the high-density lights above the targets; the plan is to replace them with high tech fluorescent lights.

We will submit an NRA Grant Application to redo all the lights and get the ceiling ready for recessed lighting.  We have a bid from John Lawrence for $500-$700 for materials and the labor will be at no cost.

SIGNAGE

The wording on our sign will is being changed, we need a volunteer to help put new wording on the sign.
